Happy birthday and Substackaversary! It’s been a delight and a privilege to share these last two years with you. I’m a Wood Dragon, my mom and my twin daughters are Metal Dragons, my son is an Earth Tiger and my husband is an Earth Rooster who always says he’s the one on the menu. 😂
I am a rat, Rats are cheerful, sociable, and tenacious people, who thrive as part of a group. This intuitive, versatile, and quick-witted zodiac values security in all areas of life, which affects their choices in love and career.
I love your writings, but I have an ambivalent relationship with February. T.S. Eliot had it wrong; April is not the cruelest month, it is February, with its false promises of more moderate weather and its abrupt ending.
Happy Birthday Ali! I also love February for similar reasons - the longer days make me feel happier and the anticipation for warmer days helps calm me. I am a Rooster in the Chinese Zodiac - doesn't sound too thrilling but I do have some of the traits mentioned - organized but I am not outspoken. I do have compassion for justice. I wish I had been born in the Year of the Fire Horse as I have always been in love with horses. Two years on Substack certainly flew by for me. Glad we connected!
Thanks Jenn! So glad we connected as well. You can also check and see which element goes with your animal on the zodiac… and get more inside info :) I would say you are outspoken in your writing… and grateful for that!
Happy birthday month! And I love our little writing group and all the inspiring women in it!

The weather sure can be a wild card for us northerners. As always, thank you for reading :)
